Just like writing a thesis (essay), there are some conventional rules that will help you structure the presentation.

The introduction
of your board is the selling of it, the statement of what is going to be talk about, and how they support the big idea; Architecture (space). In the visual literature, the gesture of such, becomes that introduction. 

• Western hemisphere reads from left to right, top to bottom. (left top corners becomes the accepted starting point)
• Gesture is accomplish by using the main parti of the primary models, those being the final construct. And align them in such a sense that they create a never ending flow. 
• The hierarchy project should not be the start nor end, but should be the center of it.

If you manage to catch your reader in the introduction, they will come back to read the body; the process. 

The body
is the re enforcement of your argument and the explanation of such. Keeping good grammar (craft & communication techniques) is crucial. The consistence of terminology (medium and method) keeps the reader aware of what you are writing about. Also mini conclusion of each argument are to be expected to tight in to the whole.

• Stay within grids.
• Rule of thirds.
• Organize process near the final construct.
• Organize process chronologically or transitionally.

The Conclusion
is an illusion. Your goal is to keep the reader. Therefore the conclusion will just lead you back to the introduction. Though again that gesture. Every time the reader re examinate the board, they will understand more and more your intention. 

In the end, hope that what you are writing about it what your reader wanted to hear.
